cranks case broke

Salam sejahtera,

just a few weeks ago, during Eid Adha holiday. i went back to my hometown with my lovely GT128 thats just about a week came out from ICU due to Rod+piston jammed.

On monday, the day i supposed to ride back to klang, my nephews ride my bike. well they are teenagers 14 and 13 years old. well you know my bike not SJ anymore even a lot of downgrade been made(told you later), still the torque are a lot. unfortunately while there 'playing' with my bike the timing chain off from the sprocket.

at first i thought the piston jammed again, when i open the cam/sprocket cover i saw no chain on it. Great!!! so i just simply screw back the cap and ask my brother to help me send the bike to my sister house around 200 meter from my mom stall.

2 weeks later i going back to village to repair my bike. when open the magnet, and take off the starter gear i saw something i don't want to see. The holder for the plastic chain guide already broke into pieces.

but still i change the timing chain and luckily my valve in good condition.

other are fine, just that the problem..so sad...

A come back from sleep and a bit of my naked bike race story

Assalamualaikum dan selamat pagi,

lama bebenor idak post apa2 kt sini.. almaklumlah xdo pitih nk beli lappy baru.

Insya Allah akan ade update walau pasti x sekerap beutifulnara punya page tu.

GT aku pn da dua bln mati roadtax, dan baru je jam rod and piston beberapa hari sebelum mati roadtax bln 7 lepas.

sape yg add kat FB.com/bimastar pasti tau yang aku de beli satu lagi moto pada ogos 2013. Benelli Keeway RKV200G, dgn kapasiti engine 200cc, walau x segagah KTM DUKE200 (RKV cash OTR pn xsampai RM8K, DUKE?) jadilah untuk bawa badan aku XXL ni..

Dengan RKV ni accident tak silap dah 3 kali, Genting highland sekali disember 2013, kat Elite speedway may 2014 dan kat taman sentosa jun 2014.

yg kat elite tu, masa tu join race by BikeNation supermoto challenge. Organizer ade satu kategori khas tuk naked bike. Di fikiran aku fikir bolehla nk berentap dengan yang seangkatan seperti NIMOTA CK9R, DEMAK DZM200, KPIPE & moto2 china la senang ceghita. 

But, on race day end up 4 biji moto je tuk naked bike category and that including myself. Dan aku satu2nya moto china, 3 lagi tu yamaha FZ150i fully@semi modi. rider FZi tu klau nak compare dgn aku ni, bkn setakat fizikal je, malah pengalaman dan skill semua jauh melebihi aku yang nubiz ni.

tapi tetap teruskan perjuangan. Best lap time cuma +-59 sec je... tapi masa race tu pun moto aku ade masalah dgn gear 3 yang jerking(sampai la ni dan makin parah, xdo pitih nk p repair), carb x tune dgn cun asl boleh je, badan yang sangat penat (ade kisah semalamnya, len kali cheq ceghita na).

Masa 1st practicce je yg btenaga, lepas tu habih lomau..

k la sampai sini lu... rasa ngantuk lak da.. esok lagi mau kijo...

apa2 pun, 5 MAY ni buatla pilihan yang bijak...teman nasihatkan kome buat lah solat istiuharah sebelum membulatkan hati untuk pangkah sape nnt...

what had happen after 19000km...

me with my idol in bike racing...
well its quite some time since my last post here...

so much had happen since that...

this time i'll just write it in short of what had me n my bike gone through..

on 25th dec 2012, i went for second solo ride to Teluk batik. this time i only stop for gas. when reach at Teluk Batik, i noticed that my left absorber oil damp already blow out. Well its only 25 days since i install it...May be NOBI quality not that good.. After back to Sg. Panjang(my hometown) i welded the oil damp cap with MIG.

after fill with oil and increase the spring pressure
install it with no oil inside...I only fill it up with absorber oil when i'm back to klang. while that i also stress the spring a bit more and make it harder. Feel much bettter when cornering.







Then in early January, me as a team manager for GTX-XTREME RACING TEAM qualify for final race in MAM ENDURANCE RACE 2012-2013 at 5th round at ELITE SPEEDWAY,USJ.

cant be safe anymore.... :(

During my way to the race my absorber oil damp blow out again and this time its cant be repair anymore.. them i change back to the original one...

Then i also join the DRB-HICOM AUTOFEST convoy from shah alam to glenmarie..(https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10151790039277224.425587.274614482223&type=1)



my IKK cam bearing....

just last week I change back my block with the original 53mm block together with my IKK cam i changed it back to the original one.. reason is because the bearing for the cam already shattered and the block and the piston ring already out of service..because of i currently just get a job and short on cash, i got to delay any modification for my bike..After back with 53mm block, the drop of power can be feel drastically.

GT128SM; OUR JOURNEY TOGETHER SO FAR, 19000KM (versi Melayu)


cerita hari ni, walau pun B'day BLS7970  aku yg ke 6bulan mngu depan (nk bg hadiah ape plak ye?? :)) )

hari ni bakal cecah 19000km (halfway blk nnt masukla 19k).

so far tiada sebarang major problem, apa yg pernah berlaku:

1. Gasket crankcase sebelah kanan(brake side) leaking, tukar dgn total kos RM34 include EO.

Sprocket ni xsampai 2bulan pun
2. Rantai OEM kuar kilang tamat perkhidmatan stlh 10k km, tukar one set dgn Kos RM65 termasuk pemasangan. sekarang da kena tukar rantai lagi, sprocket da mkn 1(besi biasa).

3. Tayar tukar (asl IRC) guna corsa s33 pada 10.5k km

4. Top overhaul masa 12k km, sbb masuk klas belajar buat top overhaul..xde sebab2 lain.

5. Tukar hi-cam IKK dan blok 57mm brand shark(hon lid) masa 12k km(tukar sendiri masa klas top overhaul,jimat labor cost)

Da tukar absorber...
6. Tukar absorber brand Nobi beberapa minggu lepas(1 dec) sbb absorber asal da hbs lembut walau da adjust ke max gara2 penangan daily ride at Federal hiway.


7. Tukar bateri (nov 15),  Ytx5 kepada ytx7 gara2 guna cdi BRT ciplak. Guna brand koyoko kos RM73 pemasangan sendiri, kedai xbuat modi.

8. Motor jatuh kat trek Elite “S” corner, adik joki..Cuma futrest sagat n pedal brake blkg bengkok kedalam.

Journey bersama BLS7970 setakat ni (ni je yg mampu..nubiz lg):
1.       Daily ride pg blk keje >80km
2.       Blk kampong hujung minggu total >250km
3.       Trackday Elite 16 sept & 2 dec
4.       Klang to teluk Batik solo ride, total 440km (September 2012)
5.       Konvoi MotoGP GIVI 2012.
6.       Genting: Deepavali’s night ride
7.       1Malaysia Bike week, Putrajaya (the only GT128 in this event)
8.    Konvoi Majlis resepsi Sakaki+Nurul 41, total > 520km (14-15 dec 2012

TOP OVERHAUL CLASS BY SIFU AB

Sorry late for the review of the class.

As promise here the review of the Top overhaul class by AB.

Well the class start at around 9am, start with servicing the brake pump and replace the brake pad..The bike used for this is Mr. Asri bike..even using DOT5.1 grade brake oil still take some time to bleeding it.

Then we start to open our top part engine starts with the coverset, then the head, tacking out the camshaft, detach the valve from its seat.

Then we clean head surface from the carbon (no picture as my hand covered with oil and carbon). Then we do the grind valve, take sometimes and patient to do it.

Remove the head already...
After that we take off the cylinder block and the piston. Clean up the piston from the carbon, check the cylinder for any scratch sign, learn how to arrange the piston ring and how to install back the piston and the cylinder to the engine.

As for me, I'm installing my new Shark 57mm block set.  A bit excited during this.

After that we are back to the cylinder head to install back all the parts. first task is to install the valve and the valve spring. Doing it manually with bare hand and a cloth could be physical challenge to someone. As I also changing my spring valve to a harder one to facilitate the high degree camshaft I'm going to install, its more challenging even for someone big like me. Lucky me, with a few tries I'm manage to install it. Then we install the rocker arm.

Then we adjust the rocker arm clearance. Just guessing the clearance as I don't have the right tools to measure it..

Install the camshaft then install the timing chain sprocket.

Put it to the engine, and most tiring parts is here, to find the TDC marking. The mark almost unseen-able as it so small. Take me quiet some time to really get it right. Then I teach 2 others how to find it.

Finish the installation. Put back the carb and start the engine..a bit hard to fire it up. then it running, a bit rough sound.. Then I change my EO then it sound better. There quiet loud knocking sound as adjust the rocker arm clearance a bit to much.


That some of what happen that day.. A lot more drama and things happen.. You have to be there to experience it.

Deepavali Night Ride to Genting Highland

Last week on the night before 13th November 2013(tomorrow is deepavali@diwali) I’m going to Genting Highland with my bike.

There are 6 bikes, 5 GTs and one suzuki smash V115 which is my little brother.
We rendezvous at Ali bistro ss13 from 10pm, waiting for others to join, at 12am only the 6 including me are confirm to join the ride.

We start our journey at 12.30am from ss13 and we are using NKVE highway to went up to Genting.
At the last toll booth while exit the highway, there a roadblock by JPJ. All of us are checked, and two of us got to go for inspection due to exhaust modification, lucky me the officer who check on me didn’t check my exhaust as I stop the engine as I stop at the roadblock.

Then we continue our journey, my mistake is not change my rear sprocket back to 42 teeth as I’m using 39, its kind a heavy for my bike even with bigger cc. well it need to climb with 110kg burden on it. I’m using first and second gear while climbing. Not to mention the wet condition of the road as it is raining earlier today. We reach at the top at +-2am.

Done some crazy stuff up there, some get half naked in that cold breeze. While I just be my self.
We go down to Gohtong Jaya at around 3.30am and at that time the weather start drizzling with add up to low temperature its really cold up to the bone..My fingers are freezing.

Reach Gohtong about half an hour later, we ride slowly as the environment are fill with thick fog.
At gohtong we stop at a mamak restaurant and have our breakfast.
